I saw this while visiting Regensberg last week. I didn't realize that some of our furum members were also cab drivers. Who are you? That's a good deal if you can drive a E60 and get paid while doing it!

wow....an E60 taxicab!!!! wonder how many of them are forum members as well...i remember in singapore they have MB e class as taxis as well...

Here in Sweden (and in many other european countrys) 90% of the taxicabs are MB E-classes, a good reason for not buying one... I've also seen a couples of E60/E61:s too.

I lived in Amsterdam years ago, and most of the taxis were Mercedes E Class, and most of the limo company cars were also Mercedes (my limo company used S Class). Apparently, there was some huge tax advantage for a for-hire car company to buy an expensive car, drive it for a few years, and then sell it. I don't remember the details, but I recall my limo driver explaining it to me when I asked him why most of the taxis were E Class.
