xBMWx: Congratulations with your new 550i.

I have bad news... My E60 530d is sold also.
After 6 years and 220.000km's it was time for replacement. Because i couldn't wait for the next 5-series and because BMW made me in september a great offer for a F01 7-series, i decided to order a 'grandpa's' car...
My 740d was delivered last week. For the moment the car is on standard 18" rims with wintertyres. Mod's that have to be done are lowering the car (AC Schnitzer or Eibach) and 21" rims styling 312.

I hope to have a new meeting when winter has gone and our wintertyres are back where they belong: in the cellar....

Shame you sold your E60, but at the same time great to hear that your 530d lasted so long and served you so well

I'm starting to miss you all...
What about a meeting mid juin ? Maybe we can keep it simpel and meet at Hammer's in Köln. From there we can drive again to Holland and eat a delicious piece of appelpie...

Here are also some pics of my car. It's lowered 25mm with AC Schnitzer springs (still too high ) and has 20" rims.

Nordschleife is ok for me. We did this allready. Meeting in Köln at Hammer. Then we drove to the Nordschleiffe where we had lunch in a restaurant close to the track. After lunch we can visit the track. Fine by me.

Hey folks, it's been a while indeed since I as last in touch with anyone, and even longer since I was last active on the board. Family, business travel and vacation have been the focus of my time, but I could not resist sharing with you a new addition to the fold. Here is my son posing with his first birthday present. After 13 months of driving with my 740d and a lot of technical problems, i've decided tot trade in my lorry 740d for a 530d xDrive with M-pack.
So, i'm back home, finally...
