OH AND PLEASE NOTE: I am the king of starting threads that turn into multi-paged epics. So please love, don't hate, because goddammit I entertain.

After reading all the posts, I still don't get why OP called this thread "Grammar Police". Because none of his examples or others is about grammar. They are all spelling errors. So, I think "Spelling Police" is more like it.

Anyway, this forum is pretty global. We have members from all over the world, not just US and UK. So there are members whose native language is not English. We should cut them some slack.

Just my $.02

Well, I couldn't pass up the chance to zing one back at C, now could I?

Please do continue, OP. Your own words are the greatest demonstration of your lack of refinement--far better than any insult from another party. Enjoy the attention. Cheers.

Then you go and decide to make a stereotypical comment regarding where he is from. Have we learned nothing from ynottony?

In fact, the statement below strikes a similar tone as the above linked thread...

Interesting how you call CWS530 a troll...and then proceed to make this statement

The point is to communicate. People have varying degrees of English proficiency and education. Also, people put less editing into a forum response since it's not a formal document. I try to be correct, but do miss a word or have a typo on occasion. I would not think a reasonably educated person should judge me on that. If they do, they can kiss my ass while they are at it.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

"Peasants" is not a proper noun, therefore there's no need to capitalize it within a sentence.
he meant pheasants .................have you seen the size of his gun ?
