So, now we know why they insist on putting up speed-cameras on straight, open stretches of highway where you would never be a danger to anyone but yourself...

Many Dutch motoring publications refer to the mobile speed cameras as "mobile cash registers" ... with good reason apparently.

That looks awesome! For years the Dutch highway patrol "Rijkspolitie" used Porsche's I wonder if they are now using M3's or if it I just an adition to their highway patrol fleet .

From the look of this picture they've only photoshoped the E30 M3 away and pasted the E92 instead...

How does the blue light (presumably magnetic) stay on the carbon-fibre roof?

maybe another e92 M3 should challenge that one, and see how much quicker the police version is.

I don't know what the fuss is about. In the Netherlands you're either in a traffic jam or a average-speed check zone, so there's no-where to speed anyway OK, that's not entirely true -- a dutch friend with a 996 has a few secret places where he likes to go play in the earlier hours of the morning I'd better warn him to watch out for colourful M3s with blue lights sliding off of the roof

Which tuning company did that Police Porsche?? I remember seeing that in the press not to long ago
