I posted this poll since their seems to be an equal amount of high mileage cars and garage queens about.

And we haven't had a poll in a while.

Not sure what you are trying to figure out Fred. My 545i is my only means of transport. Because I love driving it so much, we leave the Minivan at home on weekends and tool around with the kids in the E60. Buts its my toy.

I was merely amazed by the low mileages some of us were putting on, especially in the US. Nothing else..

Mine is a bit of both. I do my best to keep her clean but damn she can be dirty sometimes. I think I like it.

I have to say, mine is a toy. It was definitely not a necessity. I would have been just fine w/ my '93 Corolla!

The Toyota is a beater, I can take it anywhere and not worry about it. Everything works. Runs great and I don't mind getting dings on it. But when it's time to show off... I'm in the bimmer! (flame suit on)

I'd vote both. But considering my daily commute to and from work is only around 5 miles, I'm not exactly turning the odometer! I've had the car 15 months now and have just hit 12,000 miles...
