give us more details on how these auctions work.

did you go in with a licensed dealer?
did you pay any attention how much any of those cars sold for?
how many dealers show up?
do those high end cars come from new car dealers?
Yes I went with my Dad, he and I are both licensed for the auction.
Of course I paid attention
Around 40-80
Repos, Lease returns, dead people, some came from new car dealers.

do the auctionees tell you where the cars come from? do they have to disclose if the car was a buyback, or involved in an accident?

i love going to these auctions! my dad and i also go to the manhiem one down here in hayward.. but we dont go every week, we only go on the wed. when there is a bmw auction.. the cars usually go cheaper then cuz there are so much more cars than the other days. we bought 4 out of our 5 from manhiem, you find some really good deals. last time there was over 350 bimmers, its like heaven!

oh and we also had this audi r8 one time i was there.. only had 3k miles on it and went for 106k, not sure how much the jag went for.. i took off before it sold. hope these pics work.. first time trying to post pics.

The auction declares if a car was used for non normal use like Taxi's, Police cars, etc. They disclose whatever they find but are not responsible for disclosing stuff like crashes if they don't know about them. If they do know about crashes, they have to disclose it. They don't disclose resprays so 90% of the people at the auction have paint thickness meters.

Sounds good! We also go on the last Wednesday of every month, that's when the highline cars get auctioned. There is a Mercedes majority though. I would prefer a BMW majority
