Thanks, I will most likely use a cardboard front on the face and wrap some bubble wrap around the front. Good thinking on the local tire shop. I have boxes but id rather find two huge boxes that way i can pack the wheels in two at a time.
Call up TireRack and order their wheel shipping kit. They'll send you everything you need to pack them properly. You might want to go to your local Staples and buy extra plastic wrap and wrapping tape, b/c what they'll send you won't be enough wrap it all up.

How to on shipping wheels: http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=1568668

I have shipped multiple sets this way.

Print out Fedex labels at home and choose Fedex pickup. Let them do all the hauling, makes life easy.

I must be slipping Calvin.

Must be all of this hot, humid South Florida air that I'm breathing in.

I have read a little about the "juice box" but would need to look into it more. Do you think i would be limited in my choices giving my current living situation?
What can I say, we are spoiled here in NYC. Not as spoiled as those in So Cal, but spoiled nontheless. After all, Bruce at TT Motorsports is in Farmingdale, Long Island, PES Tuning is in the Philly suburbs (90 minutes or less away) and there are several Dinan dealers in the NYC area -- just to name a few options.

Your level of flexibility depends on whether you are willing to take out the ECU and ship it for a reflash (I would never do that with him), whether you are willing to drive a long way to a tuner who can do the reflash or whether you want a plug and play solution to be shipped to you.

Sorry to hear about your sad day. I still don't understand why you felt you needed to de-mod the car. I'm sure there are plenty of E60 fanatics out there who would have paid a premium for an E60 with cool mods like yours. Good luck with your next venture.

Eliminate the temptation....if i kept the wheels i needed a body kit, if i get the body kit i need to lower it, etc. Once that was all done then it was onto LCI tails. Never ending basically.

Ive talked to my mom and she said that she wants to buy my car in a year or so. Plan is to drive it stock for a 12-18 months...then its upgrading time.
