Same here today. Was just giving my car a bit of a workout, was up to about 140mph and a dumb police car moved into my lane without looking and he was only doing about 100mph even though he had his flashing blue lights on. I guess he wasn't expecting to be overtaken. Once he moved over he was soon enough a tiny spot in my rear view mirror

Well, talking about Autobahn in Germany:
One time I was driving home from IKEA
and suddenly a german Highway police E61 passed me with about 160km/h.
I thought, OK, let's follow them and see if they show some respect for my wagon

Well, at some point they started to get slower, drive all the way to the right and switched the lights on. I thought, shit, now they want my ass.
After about 20 seconds they didn't seem to stop me and I passed them.
after about 1000m I saw why they acted like this.
At the middle lane there was a huge red spot where somebody hit a wild boar or a deer.
Right after this I managed to know why they suddenly stopped - Just to slow down all the traffic and to remove the leftover on the middel lane.
It could have been worse..
What do we learn ? - Never overtake a police car when the flashes are on - they could save your car from hitting the leftover of an animal.
