I am buying some rims for my E60 and I got a great deal on CL. I have texted the seller back and forth. Seems like a honest guy. Slight problem is that he wants me to meet him at his house because he cant fit the rims in his car. What are some precautions I should take? I am thinking of taking 2 friends with me but anything else?

Well here's the thing... depending on what you drive over, if you take two friends with you, your wheels are not going to fit into the car.

 

Get actual location address ... confirm the mailing address as best you can or at least google map it + see if there's street view to eyeball what kind of neighborhood. If it's seedy I suggest meeting at a public spot. I may be crazy but maybe the parking lot of a police precinct if you're going to hand over a lot of cash ??
