The M6 wouldn't stand a chance against the ZR1 at the Nurburgring, even with some mods.

Yes Jet but the M6 is not a hardcore racer as the ZR1 wants to be. If we would have had an M6 CSL or at least M3 CSL then we would be fair to compare track performance.

As for the BMW top speed vs that hyped up vette i'm more than convinced the M6 delimited (rest stock) can do 200mph as both the M6 and M5 have spectacular gearing coped perfectly with a high reving V10 that not even Ferraris can keep up at the very top end. Heck not even Porsches like GT3, GT3 RS, Turbo can't do those speeds.

Nothing about the ZR1 is hyped up. M6 doesn't even stand chance against the Z06 on the Nurburgring.

And you make great point, the ZR1 is track car plus its capable of doing over 200 mph. That puts it in elite company. Like you said track cars like the GT3, GT3 RS can't do over 200 mph.

The Veyron does 240+ mph, but it is a dog on the track.

ZR1 just did 7:40 on the ring, in wet and cold conditions. The GT-R was clocked doing 7:38. The ZR1 with a dry track will easily beat that. The ZR1 is no joke.

Ahhh yess i was sure you would bring that up. That was the reason i took out the GT2 from the list. True what you say but that car costs you a house + a liver.
