I recall seeing a black Infinity G35 in Waikiki the last time we were there. I think it was a police car. It was across the street from the Hyatt and had a blue light bar on top of it.

[/quote]Honolulu PD (and the outer island agencies, if I recall correctly) have a program wherein an officer is permitted to purchase, and is subsidized for, any car within a certain list of vehicles, provided that the vehicle is used on-duty. When I was growing up, I recall seeing lots of Thunderbirds and Camaros used that way as cop cars, and I also recall seeing a 300ZX with a white racing stripe down the middle AND with a blue light on top. It's a little ridiculous in that these "cop cars" don't seem to be specifically outfitted for police use. My buddy was once stopped by a cop in a Thunderbird, but didn't see the flashing light in the rearview mirror; the cop didn't even have a siren and had to honk his horn to get my buddy's attention. HPD also has "regular" cop cars but at least as of 15 years ago, they were definitely in the minority.

crazie stuff. On m5board.com they say the m5 is faster than the gallardo & viper @ higher speeds, would be alot of fun to watch, lol.
