Hadn't started up my Impala in over 2 years. Decided to get a new battery. When I lifted up the hood, I see garbage collected in the corner. I took out the battery and went to Strauss for a new battery. When I came back, I see a Possum in my engine bay. We threw a hand ball to try and scare him out. Hosed him down. Tried and scare it with the exhaust. Push it out with a PVC pipe. Then hosed him down again. It ran out and went to my neighbor's driveway. His problem for now. 
I'm sure it'll find it's way back into my engine bay.
