Took a drive today from my home in Cave Creek, AZ up to Prescott, AZ via Wickenburg, Hwy 89. There are some wonderful twisties up in this area. Traffic was light, and there were no cops at all. This is my first time hitting roads like this in my E60 and all I can say is WOW! I also had an opportunity to open it up in the low desert on my return home.

Very nice!! we really need to meet up a bunch of us OLDER AZ people! i noticed the people on AZBMW are all very young

Sorry I missed the drive, it was a beautiful day for going up north!



Just curious, what is concidered young and old on this board.

That's the thing I love about Arizona - 345 beautiful days a year (if you consider rainy days not beautiful that is).

Just curious, what is concidered young and old on this board.

Just watch the brakes as they heat up at altitude on those hills. I used to love driving up Mt. Lemmon in Tucson but the motor homes climbing the hills were a real buzz kill when you came up to a convoy stuck behind one.

Have fun and remember to look to the sky for air patrols before opening it up on the valley.
