Question

So got home from work today and my 2 yr old son was happy to see daddy. Being a daddy, it gets boring playing with baby golf clubs and playdoh. Why not take him in the garage and show him your bass ass E60?

STOP. DON'T DO IT. Even with a clean garage, expect the unexpected with kids running around.

So I just got my solaris invisibulbs in the mail today! Awesome, quick and easy upgrade right? Well, driver's side swap is done in probably 3-4 mins. Passenger side...not so easy. Well, I'm right handed and if you've replaced those bulbs before, the spot is TIGHT. Had a harder time engaging/turning the socket for the click. I turn my head for, oh maybe 10 seconds to pickup my work light....I hear what sounds like a CD hitting the floor. I look over in horror to see my son looking up , trying to look INTO my engine ...I look, and see a shiny CD in the bottom of the engine

All I could think of is driving along the highway and the cd getting caught up in some moving part, whether that's a belt, a fan ANYTHING! and bursting into a million pieces and who knows what.

I felt like running away for a few minutes...then I sprang into action. I grabbed one of my kids golf clubs, tore off the handle and threw some masking tape on the end. The opening to the bottom was T I G H T...I mean almost impossible (kinda by the intake), but apparently big enough FOR A CD. Well...my story has a happy ending. Somehow, someway...I got it...on the first try. WHEW.

Anyway, KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM YOUR E60 unless they are sitting in the car seat! MOD SAFELY

Young people here probably have never seen a wire coat hanger.
