Hi everyone,
I'm involved in a project in some of the islands in the Caribbean to build two new health facilities which are due to open late 2008 / early 2009. We are looking for people with contacts or involvement in IT hardware supply (Cisco / Dell / etc), IT installation and configuration (Servers, networking, telephones, video conferencing, etc) and that kind of thing. We are also looking for a company than can provide structured Cat6 cabling throughout the two centres. Each one will have around 400-500 ethernet ports, all which need to be individually cabled back to the corresponding server room on each floor.

A buddy of mine owns a data center company in San Juan, PR and has been wiring a lot of residential areas with Canopy networks. We used to work together at UUNET/Wcom/MCI and I did a ton of professional services consulting in the Caribbean with him. If you want, PM me and I'll hook you up with him. He is uber trustworthy and honest - not something you find in abundance in that part of the world. He also has contacts with most if not all of the incumbant providers and telcos in the region.
