Seen here on ice and at a wintry fuel station is the world?s most expensive sports car, the upcoming Bugatti Veyron.
The VW Group?s 252-mph, 1001-hp W-16-engined supercar is about to be released in September 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. These pictures are showing it completely undisguised. With an estimated price tag of $1,000,000, the Veyron is definitely a car for the super-rich only.
The Veyron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2002 and actually scheduled for release in 2003 but postponed again and again. Since then, VW has had considerable success selling the expensive Bentley Continental GT (there?s a one-year waiting list). And thus, there is new hope inside the company for the planned production of 300 Veyrons per year.

There was a time when a Bugatti was nothing if not beautiful. Consider the Type 35 and the 57. This car just proves that some people have a lot more money than taste.
