Yeah I know what you mean. My wife and I had a pretty big wedding, 400+ guests. I felt bad because, like you said, we didn't get a chance to greet everybody. And some of them even came from out of town. Man did I feel bad. But the whole day was just so overwhelming and my wife (the ever perfectionist she is) wanted everything perfect so she ended up doing a lot of the preparations in the hotel reception...in her wedding gown .......it was a pretty stressful day.

My wife and I got on a plane to St Lucia, had 2 weeks in the sun, got married on the beach in the middle of the holiday, then came home. No stress, no worries, no preparations... and MUCH MUCH cheaper !! Give me 2 weeks in the sun vs a few hours in a hotel any time
