Step 2: Become POTUS and the Secret Service will stop you from using it.
I actually think they caved and allowed BHO to use one...

Scott, next time you Bon Voyage us with a pre-vacation sign off, you probably ought to do it closer to the time you actually are disconnected from the internet!!

Ha ha. I opened the thread when I was about to leave NYC for Floridam. I am now on the ship. We set sail at 4pm. Once we are at sea, no more Blackberry.

Scott, put down the blackberry and slowly back away... Go to the bar and get some big ass drink with an umbrella in it!

Correct. But they tried to stop him using it, so they would try with you too... and then they are experienced...

Now, sign off and enjopy your vacation!

Safe trip for you both!

BON VOYAGE!

I missed the final Bon Voyage.

I vacationed in Chicago and had the crackberry with me. It went off all weekend. Well Saturday night, we did a dinner cruise on Lake Michigan. We had the whole upper deck bar reserved. Sure enough I leaned over the rail to let someone squeeze by a tight area and my crackberry was knocked out of the holster and fell to its demise. I surely wasn't jumping in after it.

A friend said I turned it into a shell phone. He gets out his phone, attempts to call it, and a phone starts ringing!!!!
I told him, "You dummy, that's my personal cell phone number you called, not the Blackberry.".

It made for quite a story back at work. The whole exchange/security department ribbed me about it for a week. I did get a new one.

Since then, ours are now fully encrypted. After 20 minutes of non-use, you have to enter a code to unlock it. If you forget the code, after 10 failed attempts, it zaps itself.
