Has anyone been to the BMW Zentrum museum in Spartanburg, SC. I am planning to visit some cousins in South Carolina soon and initally wanted to go on the factory tour but the tour is closed until the Fall. Is the Zentrum museum alone worth visiting? Thanks.

It really depends on how far out of the way you'll have to go to get there. The Zentrum isn't very large but it's still enjoyable. If you're in the neighborhood, then it's probably going to be worth it but if you have to travel more than maybe 45 minutes, you might be disappointed...

Ditto to Rudy's comment re museum. You will enjoy seeing old BMW's and the gift shop. I'd say 1.5 hours out of your way is ok... so long as you are in a BMW.

I was there last October and the cars on display were worth seeing. I don't know how often they change the exhibit but the Zentrum is worth a drive for any BMW fan.
