BMW and Daimler ramp up amid surging demand
A surge in demand for luxury cars has BMW and rival Daimler scrambling on Thursday to ramp up production in Germany and the United States, the groups said. "We are now in talks with factories to set up night shifts and cut back on summer holidays," a spokesman for BMW, the world's leading premium car maker, told AFP.
