I wouldn't call leading the championship from the third race of the year on lucky, but I would agree Rossi had a up and down year in 2006. Rossi was given a chance to win the 2006 championship with Nicky getting taken out in Portugal. Rossi decided he wanted to lay down his bike in the last race. I don't think Nicky has ever been comfortable on the 800cc RC212V. The bike is really tailored for a small rider like Dani, he is damn quick on the bike.

Rossi is King, no doubt. Love that guy. That helmet he was using for little while, with his face on the top was great.
Yeah, the helmet was/is hillarious. For I while I was thinking of getting one (I don't know if they are on the market), but I don't like AGV (I like to stay with Arai).

Did you watch the Laguna Seca race today? What a race. That might have been the best ride I have ever seen by Rossi. Him and Stoner were really going at it. Absolutely crazy when Rossi went in the dirt going down the corkscrew to pass Stoner. Epic ride.

Great race!!!

To bad Stoner had that little crash. I just couldn't get enough of them fighting for first.

That Corkscrew must be fearsome to dive into. Scary shit.......
