Not to make you crazy or anything but I still have my Alpine White 1989 E30 M3! (It's not for sale.) Owned it since new and it's still a blast to drive. Unfortunately, I don't get to drive it much -- too busy...
Hey Rudy, you better not be driving your M3 like that kid, or your avatar just might have your real mug shot on it

The comentary is the best

And the "sholder fake" sent the Camero "air borne" - just show's you that those cars are "fast in a straight line, but god forbid you have to make a turn a speed"

This is an old video, but the story is that he actually got away, only to turn himself in later.

Can't view the video at the moment, but if you look at when they say the car broke down, it's simply footage from earlier when he was making a u-turn I believe.

Bingo! Wow, I'm glad you pointed that out -- here's the proof that what you say is true...

Run the video to the 2:10 point and pause it. Now open a second window and advance the video to the 3:44 point. (Just before 3:44, there is clearly an edit.) The two scenes are exactly the same except that on the later version, they slowed it down, and added more sky while cropping the dashboard of the car (with all the text) below the frame so it looks like a different shot.

Ever since I first saw this video the other day, I was thinking that something was weird because it didn't ever look like he actually "broke down" (and the E30 M3 is fairly bulletproof) plus in most of the other videos of this type, they usually show the apprehension to "teach us a lesson."

Thanks heezy for helping to clear this up!!

Damn... What kind of behaviour is that! I'm glad he got caught before he caused an accident...

But anyway - nice video

Yup they didn't show the apprehension, most likely the kid was not caught, but turn himself in? I don't think so.

They say the Camero was the only car that can keep up, with that out nobody can stop the M3.
