Nicely modded E46 parked next to me at the mall a few weeks back just uploaded the photo today. BMW Owners know we don't ding cars. Plus we park like douchebags .

I only park like that on an "end space" as some people see a nice car taking up two spaces and it pisses them off. I once parked in space where at first glance it looked like I had taken two spaces but a closer look showed I was half way into a dead-spot that wasn't really a parking space. As I was leaving the car, some woman mouthed off about me taking two spaces. I responded to her that I wasn't in two spaces. She said I was, and I said take a look, it's not two spaces, I am not taking up a usable space.... I think she realized she was wrong but at that point she had dug her hole so deep she turned and walked off while still arguing with me. Too bad I didn't have a smoothie with me......

 

While we're on the subject of bad parking....

An officer in Montreal made headlines when a citizen spotted his cruiser in a handicapped parking spot. While the officer was calmly chowin' down in the coffee/donut shop, the civ snapped a pic and sent it to the news stationlol

Similar thing happened here in cali, not parking, but the gov. Schwartzneggars wife was spotted driving talking on her cell phone. After he lobbied and passed a no talking while driving ban

I stopped parking like a douchebag when I became a grown-up. There is nothing ultra-special about a run of the mill 5 series. The only reason someone takes up more then one spot is immaturity or lack of self-confidence. Taking up more then one spot screams "look at me, I am special, my car is so nice I deserve two spots" when in reality, the general population realizes you are just a douche and sees right through the shallow self conscious exterior. I usually will park far away, but NEVER NEVER take up more then my alloted 1 space. I am no more special then the next person, and while my car is nicer then the average car, it really doesn't deserve special treatment at the expense of me looking like a homo.
