i was searching around and came across this factory tour (USA) http://bmwusfactory.com/build/ (take the Virtual Tour)
Its cool to see the plant that makes the Z's and the X's series BMWs... the manufacturing plant is VERY advanced. to bad they dont show the plant that makes the E60's
check it out...

Orlee - not to long ago one of the networks showed a tour of the the Z4 factory from the 1st firewall welds all the way through the final assembly...pretty awesome. I think they did show some of the German plant that builds our E60's...at least the engines IIRC.
