That sounds like fun Even though its easy to get out of tickets here, I dont think the police would be sympathetic to me if i was driving that fast. My friend and I took an SL 500 to 155 but the governer kicked in. It was late at night and we had the radar dector/jammer on.

i think we should have some kind out meet...somewhere in Montana where there are no speed limits during the day...is this still a fact?

the fastest i've been on mine was like 120 mph in like 5 secs felt like 90mph ...wonder what it's like at 150mph? forget the phone...

One of the magazine reviews said that the front end (of an E60, not sure which one) got a "little light" at 150, but was rock solid at 120. Also, I'm pretty sure Montana finally did install a daytime limit, but I'm not sure what it is...maybe 70.

Drove my 530d through German autobahns to Austria during the spring school holidays and for most of the time kept the car at 120mph on cruise control. Got an indicated 30mpg, car handled perfectly through the sweeping corners around Bamberg, and the interior was very quiet. Top speed on the straights was 140mph - wife & kids in car required some circumspection! No front-end lightness reported by this driver.

It was a simply phenomenal drive, to be repeated with anticipation during the summer hols.

on a empty highway between palmdale and barstow, I can attest to the fact that the electronic control kicks in at 155, ,
