F*ckin sucks. You should go back to the gas station and get a copy of the surveillance tape. Then file a complaint and show them the footage.

 

funny thing is this same exact situation happened to a really good friend of mine. and he was in the car calling 911 to verify they were really cops and they tried to break his window. if this is really newark police then they need to calm down ... just because they are cops doesn't mean they can do whatever the hell they want

 

Paul... reminds me of the sad story couple years ago in NY where the black guys were at a strip club for bachelor party... white undercover LEOs approach them with guns outside the club... black guys try to run cause white guys with no uniforms are pointing guns at their car... undercover police (allowed to drink at strip club, to hide their cover) shoot into vehicle and kill the groom. All suspects were unarmed. Police claim they used their vehicle as a weapon so shooting was justified. If you are out of uniform and pointing a gun at me... I'm running at you too! Unfuc#ing believable.

Also reminds me of the story in Georgia last year where the police shot and killed a 90+ year old woman. They had a "source" that identified her house as a drug house. They perform a "no knock" warrant, kick in her door, she grabs her gun, they shoot and kill her. Wrong house... she's dead... LEO's go free.

I appreciate the LEO's that do their job, but waaay to many of them develop a superiority complex and abuse their position of power.

FILE A COMPLAINT PAUL. I have a personal story of police abuse that is far worse, but I don't have the time or patience to share.

LMAO! I went to grad school in Philadelphia. My mom/family came from Michigan to visit. I was driving them around the city, ended up on a one-way street by accident and ended up going over the bridge to Camden . We all looked at each other... turned around and got the hell out of there. My first and last visit to Camden.

 

My sister and brother-in-law live in Cherry Hill, and I have been through Camden several times. Very tough area. He is a physician at PENN, and when they first moved up there she taught for about 2 weeks in Camden. She got so scared that she literally quit and walked out.

Now, he says that a lot of the trauma they get at the hospital originates from Camden. Sees all kinds of stuff, machete wounds, everything.

Back on topic, you should file a report. Nothing may happen, but at least the incident is documented.

When I get pulled over by them, they just ask me few questions like

"You got a gun"
"you know anyone who got a gun"
"who's car is this"
"where's your front plate"

some of them are pretty funny too...
