I was reading about this this morning, and now I can't wait!
The only phone you can get ICS on initially will be the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (often wrongly referred to as the Google Nexus Prime). The new Motorola Razr won't get it until Q1 or Q2 2012. Samsung haven't yet announced when other handsets will get it. You'd assume that the likes of the S2, Note and their new tablets would get it pretty early, considering they developed the Nexus. Then again, you'd assume that Google owning Motorola would mean the new Razr would get it soon, but that's at least 6 months away.
I won't hold my breath about getting ICS on my Google Nexus One or Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 in a hurry. Certainly not this year, if Samsung's speed at getting Gingerbread available for the SGT is any kind of reference.

just like our cars I would wait until the have the 4.X before you get the new phone so the fix most of the bugs which will be loads.
I will NEVER get Samsung or LG cos they will 100% break down or crash and also there screen are a bit yellowish, unlike iPhone and my X5 which is very clear and sharp screens.
I dont know if they have used a better 1 this time!!!
I would go for Sony or HTC which looks better and the phones are more stable.
I have the Huawei U8800 X5 for 4 months now and have not have crashed yet.
Huawei are very good phone cos they don't fine tune the Android OS like the other company's.

Samsung bosses must be fuming after this debacle in the Apple vs Samsung case.
I love my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" with Gingerbread. It's awesome and no hint of yellowish screen. My next phone will be a Samsung (some time next year). Either a S2, S3, Note or Nexus. My next tablet will most likely be a Tab 7.7, although I really don't see an upgrade in the next 12 months. My Tab 7 is doing all I want it to.
