Mrs. MP & I would like to be able to watch TV & Movies in the bedroom but don't want a setup like the one in the living room.
Requirements:
TV: 40-46" 1080p LCD with PIP & Split screen (a must), multiple HDMI imputs, best available blk. level etc.
DVD Player: Will be using my 80gig PS3 for now until a format winner emerges.
Receiver: I usually have no problem with this but, Mrs. MP choose the furniture which will be great for mounting the TV but the damn thing is only 14 1/2" deep, which is way less than a standard receiver so I need help there.
Speakers: I am thinking round....yep round either Orb Audio or Gallo Speakers but if you guys have a better idea I'm open. BTW Bose cubes have a huge midrange hole so no.....unless things have changed.
Cables: I'm all ears.
Thanks, and a happy, prosperous and healthy New Year to you, your family and friends.
Walk Good, Phill

One question, are you going to mount the television to the ceiling over the bed or do you not want to block the reflection from the mirrors?

The closest thing I can come up with in the way of round speaker is this sub from B&W
