Hang in there I know t's hard and I am on the same ship, but keep your head up and things will turn up, I am now evaluation my options and trying to reinvent myself, it's an awful time to be out of work but we ned to deal with one day at a time! It will get better!

Good luck, man. Look at the weekly business section of the paper. Chase down any new mgrs of companies listed. Also, Business Employment Weekly, and (city) Business Journal. Most larger cities have that paper, and it lists tons of things happening in a variety of industries.

Do not fall for agencies that tell you they have a job for you, but it will cost you $4000 (or any $$) to throw your name in the hat. These companies advertise in the paper, and they prey on management people. Some of these vultures are really slick and do a fantastic dog and pony show.

(They make a presentation to you that sounds wonderful and fantastic. At the very last minute, they ask for the $$. Walk at that point.) Call better business bureau too.

In today's world (and for last 40 years) employers have paid commissions for search agencies.
