The camera I used was

Canon 20D
17-40 f4 L USM for wide shot scenery
70-200 f4 L USM for zoom

Spent 3 nights in Banff and used it as a base for Lake Louise, Lake Morraine and Lake Emerald. Very nice.

The driving was pretty typical for my wife and I. There are days were 4-5 hours of driving is involved but that's easy going...a few stops here and there - no worries.
The objective for us is to absorb what is reasonably possible and within our limits, but for sure we're not the types of sitting next to a pool all day. I guess that day might come with children - but for now we enjoy a bit of intensity.

Mountain Sheep ... that's what they do, they live on the mountain sides, its really amazing watching they move up and down the rock faces ...

Nope, just 545i, not X ... BMW doesn't make a 545/550ix, if they did, I would consider it, but this winter will tell ...
