This $73/hr ($148K/year) being tossed around strikes me as a bit of 'creative' math on the part of some that want working folks fighting each other, while they sneak off with the loot.
To my point, in 2006 GM's CEO Rick Wagoner made an est. 9.3M in salary and bonuses (while the company was bleeding red ink). That is the equivalent of 63 line workers using the 73 dollars/hr fig. yet I see no bitching about that.
