katheikia,
I use the ZR3 laser jammer in my car and it works super. See my thread in the DIY section on how to do the installation. Fortunately, laser is easy and legal to block. I would rather get hit with laser than instant on radar. Good luck.

I have driven thousands of miles down the entire length of the GSP and turnpike. I have never even slowed down going around 75 and frequently have been going around 80 and the Troopers don't even flinch.
I feel no pitty for the folks that I see pulled on the side of the road because I usually have just seen them driving like complete a$$holes outside of the speed. IMHO

Calton - I'll tell my pal who's the NJSP Major to keep an eye out for you...What's your plate again? You shouldn't be driving that way without a badge. ![Devil](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/devil.gif)

I travel the NJ Turnpike and the PA Turnpike every week. I don't have a detector and every week I go through numerous speed traps. I have never been stopped although my usual cruising speed is about 80. The cars I see pulled over are those that are:
A. Travelling at speeds significantly over 80.
B. Driving in an irresponsible manner. ie. excessive lane changes, tailgating, passing on the right, etc.
I am a regular traveller to Germany and have a lot of experience on the Autobahn so I have experience with high speed highway driving. In my opinion, anyone who drives at 110 mph on a crowded highway like the NJ TPKE is a danger to himself and others. This is not a comment on anyone's driving skills, only that our highways are not made or maintained for those speeds, other drivers are not expecting those speeds and, in general, our driving population does not have the necessary discipline or training for those speeds. I have no problem with speeds well above 110 mph on the Autobahn because I know that the other drivers are aware that there will be cars travelling that fast. Not so on the NJ TPKE. Please slow down. Sign up for some track days if you want to go fast.
