I've never really understood why posting a lot is an issue here--assuming it is. This forum is not strickly a help forum. It has many functions including social and having fun in the context of E60 discussions. I could care less about how many posts someone makes or whether he or she always makes high quality posts--although I would prefer that everyone at least thinks before posting.

And, what is the point of having points on a forum like this one anyway unless it is to encourage participation. Points don't really say much about anything except on help forums where points tend to relate to quality--since points can be lost because of low quality posts on such forums.

Joking about post whores is fine. But, really, who cares, and why would anyone care, on a not-strickly-help forum like this one?
