I like that orange '71! Even though I'm a Ford man...I know...I know...those early 4X4s are rare. I have a '66 F-250 4X4 that used to belong to the U.S. Forrestry Dept. It's factory stock still,
except for the 30/06 hole in the floor board. That's another story. Neat stuff, skele. Glad to see another gearhead lurking this forum.

30/06 hole in the floor, what were you doing? Trying to create a DIY intake?

Never, ever take someone's word about an uloaded gun. RULE #1.
A couple inches over and we would have bagged a bell housing out of season.
Another proud moment...

Wild hog, adrenaline, errant reach for the gun stock...you get the picture. A foolish mistake.

Yeah, kinda one of the first thing I learned on rifle team in High School - never accept a gun thinking it's unloaded. Look at this way - that bell housing would've looked great over the fireplace as a trophy, much more impressive than a deer - that takes talent (and a lot of beer)

Not mine. My cousin's Toyota FJ Cruiser. First time going off road this year for him and us. It was fun.

Sucks about your friend BTW. Sad story.

Some shots of it after Off-roading in Pine Barrens NJ. Stock.

FJ off-roading meet.
