Does anyone have the BMW Platinum Visa card? It says that it gives you 1 point for every dollar you spend. You can exchange them for additional miles on your lease, repairs, parts, accessories and BMW lifestyle merchandise. No annual fee. Seems like a good way to get free stuff if you use credit cards alot as long as you pay off balance every month.

I have the card for several years, and i am going to get rid of it. The rewards are not very generous and their use of technology to automate bills and provide online access is not good. You can do better with a more standard rewards card like the one from BofA if you fly USAIR a lot.

Was...
2004 545i | SMG | White/Black | Sport | NAV | Logic 7 | PDC | Fold-down Seats | Adaptive Headlights | Cold Weather Pkg | Clear-again Bra | Mud Flaps | Bluetooth | Coat Hangar | Aux Input | All Weather Mats | 18"X8.5" BBS RK w/ Michelin Pilot Alpin's (winter) | New steering rack @ 1.2K & 17K miles| Software V.19.1 | B&B Exhaust (vrrrroooooommm!) <---Click.
I replaced the card that I use for my work with the BMW one.
I wasn't getting "jack-sh@t" from my other card so at least a few extra mile will be better than nothing.

American Express ... all the way ... delta skymiles ... shiat .. i have 58K miles so far this year ... lol.
or if you have a bunch of change laying around .. throw it into a paypal account, and get their "debit" card ... 2.4% Cashback. better than nothing ... & more than a savings account ... i used to keep ~20K in my paypal account .. first earned interests for ~2 years ... then spent it all by purchaing items via VISA ... & earned mad cashback.
