Driving at NIGHT with Lighting:

Foglight: ON
Parking Light: ON
which mean Angel Eyes and Eyebrow are on

Lowbeams: OFF

Got pull-over by a cop? is this illegal

I plan to buy John Foglight 6000K and just turn on my AE at night time?

Feedbacks please...Thanks E60 members! go beamer!

Thanks

You may be the first victim... well, that I have heard of. Did you get a ticket?

My Ride: 2004 BMW 530i - no mods. Pretty basic really. I mean it has tires, windows, and a sweet look, what more could a man want? Honestly, I'd like to improve the sound system mildly, and possibly find a worthy engine mod that would increase my BHP by 100 without giving an arm and a leg for. I don't think it's out there, so I'll stay stock and love driving my 530i.

What exactly was the citation for?

Question

Fog/driving lamps and AE's are technically not headlights. And, even if your fogs are as bright as or brighter than headlights, they are NOT headlights. If you need a more technical explanation, GOOGLE it!

It maybe splitting hairs, but why would you intentionally want to give a police officer one more reason to pull you over and write a ticket? Is a potential fine your contribution to balancing your state's budget?

If so, have at it ... your legislators need all the money you have and will spend it gleefully

That cop was German, or read my posts a while back on our forum.

I know you don't want to hear this, but he did a hell of a job!
Sorry man.

there is not a chance that will fly at night ... especially in Fairfax...you will def. get pulled over and they'll be able to ticket you for driving at night w/o headlights if they feel like it...
