For me it's about 150 km away, and as we have friends in Duss. we go there occassionally.
But probably not begining of May (there are lot of holidays in EU beg of May, so if I take 4 working days off I get the advantage of having 12 days away. So, we head back home (Poland) until 13th, but please let know if you need any tips for Dusseldorf & area - there are many must-see things all around!
For example: 1 thing not be missed (if you like to ski) is the all year round open indoor ski slope hall, Details HERE
Almost Austrian-Alps-like atmosphere and afterski party with great beer - guaranteed, and all this: 5 mins away from the city!
Last but not least: if you could make it here a week earlier - you'd join us for the EU E60 MEET!!
