So you getting the 530i ha, good choice.. i was debating over it for a while but finally picked up the 525d as the performance is almost identical(530i is detuned in India to match fuel quality) and i use my car quite a bit so diesel saves me some cash on running cost ! Have already clocked close to 9000 km since Nov.

But i am a sucker for the 18inchers that come on the 530i but i decided on not putting them on my car as the run flats are already driving me mad due to the stiff ride.

just get regular tires, I got Dunlop Direzza DZ101 for my 124 style, but I am buying M172 very very soon Run flats are such pain in the ass for us ..... about the detuned fuel injection BMW's dealer in Bangladesh gives you the option to install the bad fuel patch or not, I am actually doing 9600km and did not patch the Bad fuel program and I have zero problems. I sent fuel from Bangladesh to a Lab in Japan and it got 91 rating ...so not as bad as we think it is.......

I just drive 5-6Kms a day on weekdays so the power of 530i was exactly what I needed - weekends is going to be a different story though Also dude I think the difference in performance is quite a bit (in my humble opinion) between 525d and 530i - considering I will be touching 250Kmph very often on the Puna Expressway

I am going to trade my 18s for 19s - M166 with PS2's + M5 Kit with Carbon Fiber diffuser (everything already ordered). If you like 18s I can sell mine to you instead of giving them to the dealership. My first Beemer is going to be the baddest car in Amchi Mumbai Dude.. cant wait to get it

Hi Saad - In India the 530i comes with almost all options (xenons, sunroof etc. etc) - I am going to get the blue tooth kit and seriously considering getting the brushed steel trim to go with my PG

congrats on the great car, glad you didn buy the E class like most others, BMW's here also comes vvvery well loaded , btw my M5 kit did you mean you are installing M5 wide fenders and bumpers or the M tech kit? Get quad exhaust while you are at it. Is the Puna express way the one they shot Dil Chah Ta Hai and Swades?

Hi Saad,

Firstly I am not at a big fan of any of the Mercs.. be it the C,E, S what-have-you..I am 100% Beemer Fan. Regarding the Mods.. I am Getting the M5 Front bumper, skirts, mirrors, fenders, spoiler, trunk finisher - only getting th M Tec rear bumper with carbon fiber diffuser. I don't want to pretend I have an M5- I just love the aggressive look. I don't to mess with the mechanics of the car so I have opted against the Quad exhausts.

Rest of the stuff is pretty standard issue.. cant want to kick some major Merc ass
