Any other F1 fans?
Anyone else here a F1 fan? I have been following F1 since '79 and have not missed a single race since then. I have recorded 99% of all races run since '82, I also attended the inaugural Austin GP.

Sorry, I almost never visit the lounge. this might be my first time.
Yes, I am a MASSIVE F1 fan. hoping the regs eventually go to turbo four-cylinders so we can see BMW out there again. It's even more fun to watch when you 'have a horse' in the race. I still watch youtube videos of JPM driving the Williams cars. It just never gets old, especially watching him stuff Schumi in the bus stop at Spa.
I've watched every race since 2000.

I am a huge MS fan but it seems you are not but that is ok. I am also a fan of JPM as I watched him win his CART championship, he has balls and is a true racer. There are four races that are on my "bucket list" and they are Spa, Monza, Suzuka and Silverstone.
I cannot wait until March 15th.
Good to have another F1 fan here,
Gregg

Couldn't agree with you more on the regulations.
Trying to equate F1 with 'street car relevance' is comical. F1 has been, and always will be, an automotive freak show. When I turn on F1, I want to see a freak show. I want to see things that shouldn't be happening, happening. They've basically taken F1 and turned it into endurance racing. The regulations right now are absolutely atrocious. Thanks, Jean Todt. You're super.
I like MS, still very upset about what happened to him. No one deserves something like that. Same with Bianchi, I check his twitter page daily hoping for good news.
I never have been a fan of Ferrari's F1 team. In fact, I revel in their failures. They just seem so entitled. Right now I pull for Williams, FI, and Sauber. My favorite F1 moment to this day remains Kubica's win in Canada in '08.
March 15 is coming soon, and it seems like the season just ended! I predict another Merc constructors title, hopefully Williams will close the gap. I think RB will take a step back with no more Newey, Ferrari will continue to battle for P9s, not sure about Mclaren yet.
cheers!

I've been enjoying Formula E immensely. 200hp electric go-carts with aero and michelin pilot super sport evolution (effectively) street tires? lots of crashing? it's awesome. and it seems like they'll let just about anyone drive in it, lol - how I get an FIA license?
