Any NY Ranger fans here? If they make it to the play-offs as I'm sure they will I would like to go to see a match. I have to come to support all the Czech's there

Hopefully they will not upset me while in WOG Torino 2006

But how to do it with the tickets and reservation? Any idea from locals appreciated. Thanks guys

Not much of a hockey fan here in the U.S. Football, Baseball and Basketball are still the dominant sport.

I am a big Rangers fan, with season tickets for about 5 years.

The best bet for getting tickets at face value is to watch the NY Rangers website for the on-sale date, and then purchase tickets directly from Ticketmaster. Tickets will be hard to come by, as the playoffs alway sell out very quickly (a large percentage of the tickets are sold to season ticket holders before they go on sale to the general public). If you cannot get them directly, I would suggest stubhub.com.

thanks Rob. The thing is that I would have to come all the way from Europe. Therefore to make a little bit of planning.
So are you saing I can get the tickets online via the Rangers site?
Maybe like by now already?

It is always possible to buy tickts from a secondary source (stubhub or other ticket brokers). It is only a matter of how much they will cost.

The Rangers' last regular season game is April 18th. The playoff would start very soon after that.

I just received my playoff ticket order form. They want payment by March 8th. Still nothing on the website regarding playoff ticket sales to public.

Here is the latest update, by way of email from the NY Rangers:

New York Rangers 2006 Stanley Cup Playoff Tickets will go On-Sale Tuesday, April 18th, beginning at 9:00 am exclusively at The Garden Box Office for the first 1,000 fans. At 12:00 noon any remaining tickets will also be available on ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at 212-307-7171.

In an effort to have tickets available to as many fans as possible, a maximum of two (2) tickets per person may be purchased for one of the eight potential home games during Rounds One and Two. Tickets are extremely limited and will be available in the 300 and 400 levels and will be priced at $36.50 and $58.50 for Round One and $39.50 and $64.50 for Round Two.
