thanks everyone...
Well i got home this morning around 6:30. he seemed to be doing a little bit better. I took him out, he was still being kinda slow, but wasnt doing the head cocked drunk thing. i figured i would take a nap before the vet opens up. i let oscar get up on the bed and we both fall asleep. a few hours later maybe around 11 i woke up and oscar was gone. i called him and he came running into the room, tail wagging, seemingly nothing wrong. so i told him to go get his squirrel and he come running back in with his stuffed squirrel ready to play.
i dont know if it was some 48 hour thing. Mel, he did go in the water at the beach, but he didnt swim. he had an ear infection before, so i had an idea of what to look for, but there was nothing out of the ordinary.
i still called the vet, they told me i could bring him in of course, but it is possible he just was sick and he is fine now. I did make an appointment for a checkup next week as he is do for one. i may pick the vets brain about it more just out of curiosity.
i did find a dead cricket in the apartment on the stairs. of he finds a bug he usually wont put it on his mouth. if it is in the apartment, he usually steps on it with his front paw to kill it. i dont think he would have gotten sick from a cricket anyway.
thank you all again. i am off from now until sunday, so if he starts acting weird again, its in the car and right to the vet. for now he is more then 100% in my opinion, like he is so happy to be feeling better he is trying to compensate for the last two crappy days.

We love ruby cavaliers as well.
Brady and I are very happy that Craig's pup is on the mend.

Happy to hear he's ok, Craig!
Scott, Brady is really cute! Wow!
This made think: how about a thread with dog pictures? We've never done it here yet, have we?
