Yup, that's my favorite place to hang out on Friday or Saturday nights. They've got a lot of street entertainers, although their act gets a little boring if you go every weekend. And you see a few movie stars now and then. I always told myself that if I ever become a homeless bum I would just hang out there .

The Third Street Promenade is awesome! It is a great hang out spot on the weekends. Those guys have to make pretty good $$$... Some guys do their show at Venice Beach then go perform at the Promenade. Who knows what other spots they have.

They get people to watch their show and get entertained but a lot of them don't give any donations, they just walk away
. If his/her act is interesting enough for some people to watch then the least they can do is give them some change, unless one has absolutely no money which happens I guess.
