I've tried ignoring 700700's posts - but to be frank - the forum gets little boring without him. He is over-exuberant at times - but I enjoy his posts

700700 - I believe that miss525i misunderstood your posts in the 'old mans car thread' interpreting them as sexist and derogatory.

Whilst I don't think you meant any such thing- I DO think her view was based on your previous posts ...... which - although light hearted - could easily have caused offence to someone with a slightly different sense of humour.

I see you now propose peace - I think a gentleman would apologise for any offence - even if none were intended

As an aside - we all need to lighten up - it's really easy to upset people on the forum - cause we often misinterpret what others mean - I know I have upset folks quite by accident.

Lets all relax and be friends....

Man, was I wrong. I thought I was a big shot because J--J--James Bond 007 answered to some of my questions. Please allow me to agree that ignoring members is a bit rude(lookup amigo, in a spanish dictionary). I think this forum is great and 007 is kind of funny not all the time though

(Anonymous) did any body see me? i hope not!

007 your next mission, give her a break. She is a very cool and kind.

As an objective, outside observer, I think that it's silly to get so sensitive and worked up over someone else's posts. I enjoy coming to this forum, reading posts about BMW's and other people's lives, but I would NEVER let another forum member affect me to the point where I would need to take a break from here or where I'd get so upset that I couldn't enjoy the rest of my day. All you have to do is give a little (couldn't find the F-you face) and move on. Really, why get so upset?

The problem is the ignore feature is that it will not blockor ignore others who quote 700700, in the end you still see what he posted. I have him ignored yet I still see half of his comments via other members quotes. Helps a bit I guess...but I do agree with the majority, he's quite annoying.
Yes sadly ingore isn't 100% ignore.

Who cares. Theres been a million posts of all of us responding to this kid who doesnt own an E60 and likes to come on a bunch of BMW forums and start internet fights. Lets forget this kid and what he replies about and go about our own business.

No point in stressing a kid who lives in london. I would dig up the old "pictures" he posted of him and his girlfriend who looked like a 16yr old boy but theres no point in stirring up more laughter on here than I already caused

Real recognizes real so who cares about this kid
