"Vehicle BMW 560L* was travelling at 76 kmh instead of 70 bla bla"
Wow, what a speed!
I clearly was at 80 kmh of speedometer, there was a little of congestion and I was on a local road .
I saw them but it was too late when I sighted them behind a sign (!) .
They want to steal ?39 .
Should I pay or go to the municipal court ?
I'm afraid I will pay the ticket to don't waste time. No points on the licence till +15 kmh.
The umpteenth tax, like in the middle ages to cross a village/road.
Bye and good ticket to everyone!

I debadged the car and the rear now looks so angry that officers often think to a 6.0liters

If you know you were speeding, they caught you speeding and can evidence it, its only a few euros, why would you go to court for this?? I can understand your frustration at getting caught, but think of all the times you haven't got caught! My advice; be greatful they didn't catch you when you were going way over the limit, pay the fine and just get back to enjoying your ride... and being more aware of who's following you!

Yes, I agree and I will pay it (because there aren't points)
But the problem here is that when municipalities want to have more money to spend, instead of taxing his citizens they profit of drivers who pass on their road.
We have the normal police and a little police of the village/city.
If the normal police catches me I think "Ok, I was going a little fast and they caught me, they were doing their job" , but if I am caught by the local police of a stupid village I see it as a tax.
At the end you are right, I drove for 10k km this summer and I hope this will be the only one ; because I often travelled at 175 with limit 130.
Got 4 flashes in France, but fortunately they will not arrive (till all European states will have an agreement) .

Damn, Alex...
You don't deserve a 545 when only driving 76 Km/h...![Tease](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/tease.gif)
![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)
Now seriously...
When they get me on such minor things I pay the fine.
Just when it comes to points or of they want to take away my license... then I fight it.
BTW, when you see them and you brake hard (emergency brake) they will have an error code and can't do anything. But this only works if there's no one behind you.

After a month here at the sea, during last summers I use to go to run abroad with some big bankonotes in the glovebox, so no tickets except they stop you and even if they stop only money and no points .

I stopped ands asked: "Damn, how fast was I?" (I had seen the flash and definately was too fast...).
The answer was: "I got an error code since you were braking too hard. Couldn't get a clear signal off the radar."

That's the code for the 545 over here in EU, used by the gov and the insurances. It doesn't mean there's a 6L engine in the car. I dunno why they use this code, but it stands for the 545. ![Wink](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/wink.gif)
