They should have used more high-tech legs and they should have extended the glass top beyond the edge of the rim.
Then again, even with those modifications, I'd never bid on it...

That has to be top ten on the bad ideas list - it's worse than the "when Harry met Sally" wagon wheel coffee table.
However, assuming they are able to get someone to pay $900 for a $400 wheel welded to the base of an office chair, with a glass round on top, that's a nice margin!!
Other ideas for the line:
Barstools
Dog bowls
Ottomans
Lighting fixtures - hanging or floor standing models
the list goes on . . .

Hahah they probably got the idea from a dealer or somthing... Long Beach BMW's waiting room has ALL Wheel tables... made from various BMW wheels.
