I went to see the movie 300 yesterday. 
Classical story told with stunning visual affects ... lots of blood, bare breasts. What else could one ask for? 
If you liked movies such as Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, or the HBO/BBC series Rome - you will love this one.

Agreed. Great visual effects combined with great actors and a comic book story. Please do not expect a true account of the Greek and Persian history though. It is a damn entertaining movie.

Anyways, it's just an opinion. Apparently some of the Iranians found this movie to be offensive.....

I dont know what history books you read, Im Greek and the books I read DID pertray the Persians as savadges, and the king as a God like figuire. Anyway everyone is entitled to there opinion, (thats another thing the Greeks have given us, the right to live FREE)...
