Whoa dude your car has some fat tires... 50 series?
They aren't 50's but they might as well be. The backs are like 285/40/19, the fronts are 245 something or other...

I got them from a friend who has a 7. He went from 19" to 22", and thought his 19's would fit our car. Well, they do, but the fronts are a little too thick (rubbing on dips & bumps)- so I took them off. Plus, a wheel is bent, and losing air (seal compromised). So, after I recover from Christmas, I'm gonna get a set of something, (M6 replica's more than likely) and put on there.

Those are Asanti wheels, and they cost as much to get fixed as a new set of lesser wheels would cost.

Modified cars don't count... You can modify an Aztec and make it faster....
I'm talking stock for stock.

True, the 335i may be (may be) quicker than the top line/top engined G in a straight line (not much quicker), but across the line, the other 3's are all reading G taillights & license plates.
if modified cars dont count, then you cant really compare a 328 to a G37S. you have to compare a 335i

You wouldn't compare a v6 camaro to a V8 mustang.

Well guys, as you know, the most recent G series, has matched or beaten teh 3 at every turn, but the 5 still had the edge in handling and in top HP (excluding M5) over the M. Well, the new 2011 M is raising the HP bar to 420 and they're going with a 4wheel steering system to help with handling-

Not saying it's goinna be better than the new 5 coming out- but, given the new E-Class, and now the new M- this info certainly makes one wonder what BMW has instore for the 5, if the goal is to stay in the lead.
All info on the next 5 is out.

Can you say Twin Turbo V8 550i.

no way.

Maybe 3 series. G35s are a dime a dozen. every jager bombing fist pumping ass clown has one. although you can pick up e60s relatively cheap, they are still fairly exclusive in most areas.

Dont get me wrong, I like the G35s, i just wouldnt drive one at the age of 26. I would rather drive a brand new accord (cringe) G35 just says "I have a luxury line vehicle but don't have a lot of money" it is that general ideology of that crowd. I even saw on the jersey shore preview some guy says "i doesnt matter if you have a dollar in the bank, as long as you look like you have money" those are the guys that drive G35s.

Yeah, I'm not saying I'd buy one either, I love BMW. But overall as a car they are not bad, I previously had a Maxima. Nissan/Infiniti being the same company, they are very reliable cars. I like the interior of this m56 it looks very nice.

I leased a 2006 Infiniti M45 Sport for over 3 years. The Infiniti M is an excellent car and handles very well. It could run with my 550 in the twisties, no doubt. It also had better electronics, reliability and ergonomics than my 550. And the M's rear seat room is ginormous -- so much better than my 550's rear seat room.

What the Infiniti M lacked was: (1) a refined suspension -- the sport suspension had zero ride compliance over bumps and no refinement, rather it was just rock hard and many of my passengers complained about it; and (2) the automatic transmission sucked. It was very slow to downshift when I would floor it while at speed and when it did, it would only downshift 1 gear rather and two, which killed its highway passing power. In both aspects, my 550 is much much more refined and fun to drive.

I do think that as a driver's car, the Infiniti M is the best alternative to the 5 Series as it is heavily biased toward a firm and sporty ride.

I as i was reading this i was thinking "what are you 18?" then i saw who wrote it

you are ahead of your time.... But you talk about getting a different car every week
Yeah man I decided on a E46 M3 and a E39 M5. But that's too much power for a teenager, and plus the maintenance will kill me. Thats why the G35 and the 350z are ideal as they are Japanese. Still not a BMW thats true but faster then a 528i/530i lol.

I'm glad I talked my sister out of getting one and staying with BMW--she went with an e90. There's just no way she could have lived up to that description.
