Reports from the U.K. say that Clarkson's annual salary is 2 million pounds and the other two get 350,000 pounds. They are not happy and might not return to the show.

I hope it gets sorted but at the end of the day their GBP350,000 salary is GBP350,000 more than it would be without Clarkson. He's the show, he's why they make what they make today. Hammond and May are really just there to be his sidekicks (May in particular). Love 'em, but if they were to go they're both replaceable - and their salary reflects it. Clarkson on the other hand is much more valuable.

As much as they are sidekicks, I think the 3 of them have a great chemistry which makes the show even better than with Clarkson himself. I guess in earlier versions, he had Quentin and Tiff Needell as sidekicks...As you know those guys now do the rival 5th gear show in the UK.

I think it would not be the same again if they do not sort it out.
maybe they can get 2 new guys and cheeper and better.
any way if they do leave it will be a loss for the BBC and Top Gear.
I beat right now 5th gear are having a party.

Come on over here boys and do the US Top Gear.
Although the US Top Gear won't come close to the original. At least we will have car show worth watching. I heard there will be some big celebs doing the "Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car" segment, including Jerry Seinfeld.
