2 Tampa Police Officers Brutally Murdered

for those who live in FL you have probably heard about this. If you live anywhere in the US and follow the news you likely heard about this.
This is a tragic story about 2 police officers who were murdered on the side if the road by a scumbag who had written some bad checks. It happened about 48 hours ago. One cop leaves behind a wife and 4 kids, the other a 9 month pregnant wife. Dantae Morris is still at large.
I just wanted to post this because I have a great deal if respect for police officers and I appreciate anyone who puts on a uniform to protect their neighborhoods, their cities, or their nations. Be it police officers or military.
Sometimes members in car forums especially need to be reminded of the dangers cops face and that they aren't just Here to make our lives miserable with radar guns.

wow thats horrible.. I hope he gets death when caught, letting him live his life in jail sounds too nice. God be with the families

That guy should have never left prison from what the story says. WTF! One other thing, why isn't there a picture of this POS posted with the story?!

CBS tampa has donated 10 digital billboards in the area to show his picture, the reward fund for info leading to his arrest is up to $100K and people have come out in droves to support the families of the slain officers.
I hope he isn't killed on the spot. I hope he sits on death row for 20 years before being killed. He obviously didn't want to go to jail so bad that he killed two other human beings. Going to jail would be the worst punishment, especially when you know your death is imminent.
Cop killers seem to usually be dealt with harshly once they are located and rarely taken alive. I guess if he is killed when sighted, it gives some quick closure to the family and our community.
