on a side note, I don't want to comment on the reliability of the N54 engine, as I don't want to jinx myself

Thanks. I've been to LA a million times on business on for vacation and I do love the PCH. I often will drive up to Malibu for good eats. But about 6 years ago, my wife and I drove up the PCH to Santa Barbara -- nice. My favority part of the PCH is the strech from Carmel to Cambria. My wife and I did that southbound about 3 summers ago. It was awesome. Roads don't get any better than that.

Your post prompted me to take another look at your gallery. Very nice work on your car. Your don't talk about it much but you have made a lot of nice appropriate changes to it. I am on pace with you re: miles. I have 6K @ 12 mos.
